Alberta Foothills Weather

June 25

An interesting day today. We had some early convection that petered out before it could amount to much.

There was a nice trough coming across the mountains from the SW, so we headed down the Sundre way to see if anything would develop. Nothing really developed but a wet thunderstorm. This shot is looking SW over Sundre to the mountains.

That storm fizzled out before it made it to the Red Deer area, but some more goodies brewed up near home later on, around 9pm.
