Alberta Foothills Weather

August 18

A fairly intense line of thunderstorms moved off the foothills around 7 this eve and rolled northeast across Red Deer and area. It was so smoky today that you could not really see it coming, just a grey mass. Plenty of lightning, but it was a good distance behind the rain front and was coming from everywhere, not good for photos.
