Alberta Foothills Weather

August 25

Not much to see today.
There was a slight chance of a t-storm today as a low over southern BC spun a few waves across the rockies.
Around 6pm a little system moved east from Rocky so I went over a few miles for a look. It had a bit of a shelf cloud so I sat for a while to see if anything would happen. Nothing did.
A big gust of wind and it fell apart before it got to Red Deer.
Might have gotten cooking if we had some warmth. It struggled to hit 20C here today.

if there was more moisture/warm air, that would have been a mean/nice shelf-gust front for sure…! first picture is rad with the rain shafts…right on man…!
