Alberta Foothills Weather

October 15

The warm spell continues as we bask in the sun under a nice upper ridge. Red Deer(YQF) reported a high of 19C between 4 and 5 this afternoon, we hit 21C here at 5pm with a low of 1C at 8am this morning . Normals for the season are +12/-3C so we are well above average. Things are supposed to cool right down for the weekend.
The geese are starting to stir, with squadrons beginning to take over the evening skies. Tonight they shared the sunset with a pair of sundogs.
To cap it off, a beautiful crescent moon playing in the clouds over the Alberta foothills with Jupiter above.
A perfect evening for a stroll.
