Alberta Foothills Weather

October 20

Another nice week goes by. All the leaves have gone and the farmers seem to be pretty much wrapped up for the season around here. Seemed warmer than 12C out there this aft, much better than the 6C that was forecast earlier in the week for today. EnviroCan is calling for 17C on Monday and 20C on Tuesday.

A cold front swept across southern Alberta last night, giving us about 14 drops of rain, but leaving some unstable air in it’s wake for today. A few puffies tried to get going later in the afternoon and it looked like a few may have made 15k feet, but as soon as the sun went down they all collapsed like waterfalls. Nice treat!
