Alberta Foothills Weather

October 26

A small low pressure system moved across Alberta from the northwest around 7 this morning, giving us about a cm of snow. Just enough to remind us of what might be coming. Bring it on I say. A surface ridge is building in over Alberta today and we are forecast to be back above normals for the weekend.

The Hunter’s moon arrived on schedule last evening, it was big and the weather was kind. There was a good virga display happening at the time and I thought for sure the eastern horizon would be useless. However, Mother Nature kept a strip clear for us, just big enough to watch the full moon rise over the city of Red Deer. Thanks!
