Alberta Foothills Weather

December 27

The first week of winter was a gentle one here, beautiful weather for holiday travellers. Everywhere we looked, folks were out soaking up the sun and nice temps over the past few days. Lovely weather for all the furry critters outside as well, we saw a few of them out enjoying the sun in our travels.

We picked up about a cm of snow last night, just enough to whiten things up a bit, but hardly enough to measure. Looks like we could get another sprinke on Saturday, but still nothing significant showing in the near future. Sigh.
