February 20 - Lunar Eclipse

A beautiful February night for standing outside snapping photos of the eclipse. Light breeze, barely below freezing, and only a few wispy clouds as the moon appeared. The skies cleared off completely before the real show began. As the eclipse started to darken the countryside, the Snow moon coyote party that was in full swing out in the bush to the south died right down, but as soon as the moon filled back out, the howling and yapping started right back up again. Nice night for a shindig.
