		<description>No I missed out on the thunderstorm season last year. This year will be my first go out here. I chased in Ontario from 2000 - 2005. Was living in the mountains with no transportation but now that I do I'll be out in the prairies!!! Can't wait!!</description>

		<description>Wow looking at the Hinton and Jasper cameras, looks like a foot. Cochrane looks like they have at least a few inches. Here in Airdrie rain has been off and on. 5mm of rain last nite, but no snow yet as its still +2. There really was a thunderstorm yesterday here, and Pat I got a couple pics of the pea size hail, although it was almost melted a half hour later when I found my digital. Just looked at Lethbridge AMA camera, nice there with a big chinook arch and that wonderful west wind.

		<description>starting to snow now here in red deer. big flakes that are melting on contact now. ive seen enough snow already! prairiechaser: were you on any storms last summer? i was on a couple supercells, one near alsike, ab that dropped a funnel 3/4 of the way to the ground. awesome storm. 20 more days im outta here PB!</description>

Was out in Drumheller today (escaping the city life in Calgary) and nothing but showers. The thunderstorms are down south enjoying the warmer weather I guess. Nice blog!!</description>
