    ==DISCUSSION==
    A BAND OF SNOW THAT BROUGHT MORE THAN 10 CENTIMETRES OF SNOW TO THE
    ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE REGION AND THE NORDEGG REGION EARLIER TODAY HAS
    NOW MOVED INTO CALGARY. AFTER INITIALLY MELTING ON CONTACT WITH THE
    WARM GROUND SOME OF THE SNOW IS STARTING TO ACCUMULATE. 5 TO 10
    CENTIMETRES OF SNOW IS LIKELY IN THE CALGARY AREA BEFORE THE SYSTEM
    MOVES SOUTH OVERNIGHT.

    I have to take responsibility for the sudden shift back to November folks, I fired up the BBQ last night for the first time. Should have known it would cause some kind of karmic event 😉
    Not much exciting here in Red Deer today except for that wicked wind around 4am that shook the house…I am assuming that was the cold front coming across. A few hours of blowing snow grains, then huge flakes, than back to grains this afternoon…all over as of about 3pm. Of course it melted as soon as it hit.

    Ended up with about 5-7 cm of snow here in Calgary. Things quieted down pretty quick here around 4:00 pm. Says on EC website that we could get another 1-2 inches of snow by morning.

    Put the vids I shot this afternoon together and posted them on youtube if you wanna check em out!
