Alberta Foothills Weather

September 7

Still waiting for some sort of late summer send off around here. June seems very far away.
The weekend looked somewhat promising for some season ending goodies, but even with a series of nice lows rolling in from BC, we got nothing out of it but a few huffs of wind. All the action stayed well to the north aside from 4 rumbles of thunder and 1mm of rain here yesterday.

It’s been terribly dry and docile since the last post, giving farmers a good week to get after the harvest, but leaving weather watchers with not much to watch other than dust and smoke tinted sunsets. More boring stuff in the forecast, hoping for an anomaly of some kind.

looks above normal to way above normal temps and no rain for the next 10-14 days. Farmers should be able to get cleaned up by then, but its BORING!!!
