July 8 – Cottonwood road storm damage + video of Sundre tornadoes

A few minutes after the last photo of the last post was taken, a tornado was reported west of Innisfail. It turned out to be a busy night clearing downed trees for the cleanup crews, something chewed a path north along RR21 and across Cottonwood road. Whatever it was it had enough oomph left to some damage 3 miles further along the same line, flipping bins and snapping trees.

And a video from last night, bah what a place to put a tree!
Apologies in advance the shake in the last clip, the RFD was really blazing.

Wow! I am so glad that no one was injured. I feel just horrible for the family on that farm. :(

Absolutely remarkable video! Top notch as per usual. The damage at Innisfail is almost as shocking as the callous disregard for stop signs in the Sundre area.

Kara everybody was ok around there, luckily a lot of people were away from home doing other things when it hit.

    Thanks Anthony, Jaunque

There certainly was some “special” driving going on haha
Not as bad as the looky-loos on cottonwood the next day tho.
