June 25 – Part 2 – Darkling shadows
Didn’t have to go far to see some summer goodies today, this one rolled in off the hills and tracked right over Sylvan Lake this afternoon. Nothing severe that I saw, but the hail plane was bombing it for most of it’s life, so they must have thought there was something in there. I wasn’t going in to find out.
Very nice images. I thought about a pano, but we were always to close to it, and could never get to a decent location ahead of it. There will be more opportunities. The colors and contrast made it fun to photograph!

June 26th, 2010 at 9:34 amLooks good Pat. Here’s some of mine from the rear of the drumheller storm. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get in front to see anything good.
